OUR CENTRE

“A WONDERFUL PLACE FOR YOUR
WONDERFUL CHILD”
We strive to provide a safe and
stimulating, caring and challenging environment for every child in our care to
develop a positive self-esteem, confidence, curiosity and creative expression
and respect for their families, peers and themselves through child-focused
play-based planned activities and experiences.
Wonderworld Childcare & Kinder is a privately owned and
managed long day care centre for children of age from 3 months to 6 years.
It is licensed from the Department of Education Early Childhood Education (DEECD,
formerly Dept. of Human Services) to enrol a maximum of 60 children.
We are also accredited by the National
Childcare Accreditation Council Inc a High Quality Centre.
Wonderworld is located at 106 Templestowe Road,
Bulleen, a purposely built childcare centre consisting of 4 separate rooms for
different age groups of children. All children rooms are set up with age
appropriate activities according to the planned weekly program. There are
also three separate outdoor areas specifically designed for babies, toddlers and
kinder children.
All Wonderworld staff are permanently employed with
police check, first aid and anaphylaxis training. Each room leader is also a
fully qualified staff with at least a qualification of Diploma in Children
Services. A full-time qualified kindergarten teacher is also responsible in
providing a government funded kindergarten program for all pre-schoolers.
Hot meals are prepared daily by our qualified Centre
Cook to suit children with different religious and cultural background. We also
serve breakfast, morning and afternoon tea, and late snacks for all children. It
is the belief of our Centre that good nutrition is vital to the health of young
children and we aim to offer a balanced diet based on the five food groups as per
The Australian guide to Healthy Eating.
